Memoirs of a Madhouse Mum

I think that the title about says it all - I am a Mum of 4 and I definately live in a Madhouse!! Life is hectic, time is scarce, chores are a plenty, the demands of the taxi mum are never ending, sleep is deprived and laughter and love has no boundaries (mixed with alot of noise). Oh,I almost forgot.....Scrapbooking! My niche in life when time permits. Its what keeps me sane!

Update Time...

Hello to everyone, hope you are all enjoying the colder weather - BRRRRRR!!!!
Thought it was time for a little update - so here we go.....

The July 4 Product challenge mini kit has just been released over at Scrapping outback - why not grab yourself a kit and enter this monthly challenge......who knows you might win the next months kit for FREE.

Here is my take on July's 4 products....

Heidi Swapps NEW mega masks and Invisibles are just gorgeous - I had so much fun creating the layout below using the Mega mask - heart and Invisibles paper - borders. I really love the effect this creates!!!
You can go here to check out what she does with these products.....

For this layout, I have used the mega mask - bracket and the ink blending tool to create a soft shimmery look over Embossed bazzil.

This layout was created using the Mega mask - bracket and the Invisibles paper - borders.
I also used the ink blending tool to create the soft blended look!

If you are interested in any of these products, they are all available over at Scrapping outback in the new products section OR in the Heidi Swapp section.
Well, I think that will do for today....
Stay warm

A couple of Rusty Pickle layouts...

Good morning to all.....
Wow, what a busy week....then again, every week is busy!
Seems like we just run around in circles and never seem to catch up - maybe one day!!!
Anyway, just thought that I would upload a couple of Rusty Pickle layouts - the first one using the White chocolate bunnies collection and the second one using the Candyland collection.

Rusty Pickle is just about to announce who the Amazing Race runners will be for this years DT competition - I must say some of the entries where absolutely amazing - It was very difficult to narrow the list down to our top 6.
I can't wait to see who is about to run the race....it will be so cool being on the other side this time.
All I can say is Good Luck to all who entered!!!!
I will keep you posted on the progress of the race!
Until then,
Take care,
Rach x

Just a little update...

This is class No 6 of the chipboard Highschool over at scrapping outback - "Creating the Metal Look"
This technique is a messy one, but the effect is pretty cool..... and up close it really does mimic the look of old rusty metal.

Sorry, I had to remove the images for a project publication coming up.....

If you are interested in checking out some amazing work.........go HERE.

Here are 3 new Project idea kits that I have just completed....also available at Scrapping outback
These kits are a fun creative way to complete a mini album very quickly without too much stress - they make great keepsake presents and will suit just about any theme.
Thats it for now, so until next time
Take care
