Just found out that the baby gift set that I made for a friend has been published in "For keeps" - it was originally going into Australian papercrafts, but now that the two magazines have combined it has been moved forward.

Had a play....

Woo Hoo I finally got a chance to have a play with my new stamps.....I love them!!!

Here are a few cards that I created, I had a ball and went a little over the top, but, I now have a huge amount of Birthday, for you, and baby cards ready to go.

I have also created a couple of layouts using the circles, I will show these soon too!!

The details....

Ok, ladies, it seems that you all want the requirements and photo sizes for the "Too cool" album that I am teaching at the June convention. So I thought that I would put them here for you - however, I truely doubt that you will get time to actually add photos on the day as the construction of the album is quite detailed, so you may like to add your photos later once you have finished the constuction.

Required materials for students to bring to class.
Cutter
Wet glue for adhering paper to chipboard eg; PVA + brush or large zig blue glue.
Strong Adhesive eg; power gel.
Double sided tape
Black zig writer or gel pen
Craft knife and cutting mat
Sandpaper
Watercolour pencils and water brush or coloured get pens for adding extra colour.
Lead pencil
Stapler

Photo Requirements – All photos can be added later.
Any smaller sized photos to be included in a keepsake album eg: Special moments, achievements, friends, graduation, hobbies and 1 young age photo 4.5cm x 7cm in portrait position
As a rough guide: My Album includes about 19 photos printed or cropped in all different sizes-
Page 1-1 @ 8.5 x 8.5cm and 1 @ 11.5 x 8.5cm in Landscape.
Page 2 – 1 @ 10 x 15cm in Portrait
Page 3 – 1 @ 12 x 7cm in landscape, 1 @ 5.5 x 8cm in P, + 2 other small photos for pocket?
Page 4 – 1 @ 4.5 x 7cm in P, 1 @ 5.5 x 8cm in P, 1 @ 6 x 7cm in P, 1 @ 4 x 7.5cm in Portrait.
Page 5 – 2 @ 11 x 10cm in Landscape
Page 6 – 1 @ 10 x 7.5cm in L, 1 @ 4.5 x 4.5cm
Page 7 - 3 @ 5.5 x 8cm in Portrait, 1 @ 8 x 5.5cm in Landscape.

They are here....

My stamps have safely arrived from overseas...... I love them and I hope you do too. However I just want to let you know that due to the ridiculous cost of the freight and extra GST, they will be a little more than first expected.
They will retail for $24.95......So those of you that have already placed your orders, may decide not to continue with your order, and I understand if this is the case. Just let me know...
In the mean time, I will send out an email to those of you that have pre-ordered, you can let me know if you still want to continue.
Also, I will have them for sale at the convention in June, so you will be able to purchase them from there (assuming they are left) or you may prefer to avoid the postage costs and pick them up from the show, however payment will be required before hand.

So all in all - the wait is over girls!!!!

June's Convention class...

Woo Hoo....I have finally managed to get my hands on some of the new Rusty pickle papers and albums to make up the sample for the second class that I will be teaching at the June long weekend scrapbooking convention........ {Too cool for school}
This album which is 6in x 12 inches is full of secret pockets, doodling, added colour and lots of other fun stuff!! It will suit both boys and girls and would make a very cute Keepsake album for just about anyone!!

Now, that I have finally got some sneaks for you too look at, it's not too late to book as there are still spaces available. Just go here and book in.

Scrapping outback comp...

Just thought I would let all you scrappers out there that Scrapping Outback is holding a big competition - Sounds like fun......here is the info!

Brisbane Scrapbooking Convention
June 8 & 9th
Would you like to see your work on display at our stand, alongside works by Lu Benson, Rachelle Minett, Sandra Gerdes, Petrina McDonald and Jill Geraghty Groves...well you could. If you have purchased products from Scrapping Outback you are eligiable to enter. We want you to help us show off our best products. So if you do not already have our designs in your stash, you need to do some shopping.
To enter you just need to submit your layout or off the page project. You can enter as many submissions as you like...the only requirments is that you MUST contain products from Scrapping Outback. Entries are to be uploaded in the Brisbane Scrapbooking Convention Competition in the gallery. So register your details in the gallery, grab some products and show us what you can do with our designs.
Entries close 27th May. Winning layout will receive a huge prize pack valued at $100, presented in one of our Convention reusable shopping bags which will be personally autographed by all the above designers as well as your layout on display at the Brisbane Papercraft Convention. Good Luck Ladies
