Dance update...

Just thought that I would drop in and let you know how the kids went on the weekend. On Saturday the boys team "B star" came 5th in the preliminaries and went through to the finals and Tegans team "Ikandi" came 1st in the preliminaries with a massive high score of 86.1, they also went through to the finals on Sunday.
On the Sunday the Boys team end up coming 6th by .1 , they didn't make it through to Nationals - only the top 2 teams made it through. As for Tegans team, they came 1st again with an even better score of 87.9, they, and the next 2 top teams made it through to National in Sydney in August. It was such a great effort for the girls as they haven't won a comp all year - they were sooooo excited!!!

State championships....

Tomorrow we are off to our State School Aerobics and Hip hop championships....the boys are dancing in the morning and Tegan is in the afternoon - so I am in for yet another long day.... I must say I love watching all the Hip hop dance teams, but the aerobics after a while starts to look the same - especially when the same music is repeated over and over. However the girls who do the aerobics are amazing, they do things that no normal person is capable of - their strength is awesome!!!

If the make it through they are off to the Nationals in Sydney, so wish them luck....

I think I am back on top of things again...

After an extremely busy few weeks - I think i have just about caught up with myself (well almost). I am just about finished my classes for Hughenden and have even done the layout for the next coming Saturdays class.......Woo Hooo! (chalk that one up girls, cause its been a long time since I have had things done more than a week in advance).

Unfortunately, i have had one very sick little boy home for the last 3 days......don't say anything, but things have been so much more peaceful since he has been sick...........yes, you guessed right - Morgan. Hopefully he will get better soon as the Boys have their state championships this weekend for their Hip Hop dance team and he is one of the main dancers.

Anyway - Fridays class has been emailed out to all involved......here is the sneak peek!

All I can say that these new collections from Rusty Pickle are gorgeous especially the Pirate Princess and the Mayflower....I love these!!! Go and have a look and hassle your local scrapbook store to get them in - they are even better in real life. Yummy!!! Enjoy.....

All Done...

Well the end has come - its been a challenging 2.5 weeks, but it is amazing what you can do if you put your mind to it. Here is the link to my last project "Aloha" . Pop over and have a look at all the other entries too.....OMG there are some amazing things. All the girls are so talented - all I can say is "I am so glad that I don't have to pick the winners".

OK, so whats next - I have to finish my projects for Hughenden (Sorry Alana, they are coming), finish a couple of Beyond the page items for Scrapapple and come up with some new classes for next week. No rest for the wicked!!

I am taking the kids to the movies today as the poor things have been on school holidays and we haven't done anything as I have been too caught up in the Race.

Have just gone into the Rusty pickle site and got the last clue.......THIS IS THE LAST PROJECT!!!! YIPPEE........
We seem to have a little longer for this one - due thursday! - A 4 piece party ensemble. Hmmm, this will be interesting.
Off to do the childerbeast running around, then back into it!

Pit stop No 7.....Done.....

This was a big project (well it didn't have to be, but you know me - I never do things by halves).
